PORTFOLIO STRATEGY: Our Selection Team Defines Our Portfolio Revision Goals/Criteria

We Survey Our Markets to Identify unmet needs and trends, utilizing market experts and partners in Georgia and other wine regions. We define specific market "Avatars" that are our target buyers and consumers, with data on their wine tastes, buying preferences and how our wines can optimally appeal.

SOURCING TEAM: Sourcing Country Search Team

Sourcing goals defined, we organize our sourcing team. We have National Wine Agency partners, agents in country, our Vintnors (who represent their wineries AND their associate wineries) and we get on planes.

WINERY/WINEMAKER QUALIFICATIONS 'AVATARS': Our winery/winemaker Qualifications and Styles

We define specific quality control, vineyard management, winemaking styles, and information needs/requirements to make sure our selections are based on the highest standards of quality and transparency. We require clear, auditable recipes, including vineyard management, sustainable farming practices, complete ingredients (quantity and when added), and any interventions.

Supplier Assessment: Reputation, Track Record, Quality Control System, Philosophy

We dig deep into the local reputation, awards, recipes, winery management, finances and management of the operation. Many of our winery teams do not speak english, so we retain "importer agents" who represent us, define our requests for information and represent us.
