The Georgian Sun Spring Green Mtsvane 2024 is a vibrant expression of one of Georgia's most storied white grape varieties, crafted at the Vazisubani Estate in the Kakheti region. The name Mtsvane literally translates to "green" in Georgian, referencing the yellowish-green tint of the ripened berries. Mtsvane is prized for being highly aromatic, and is often referred to as a "gateway" grape for people starting to explore Georgian wines, because of its fruit-forward, expressive and easy drinking profile.

    About the Winery

The wine is born from the unique terroir of the Vazisubani Estate, located at the convergence of two of Kakheti's most prestigious appellations: Mukuzani and Vazisubani.

Terroir: The vineyards sit on mineral-rich, loamy soil mixed with ancient river sediments and limestone. This composition provides the wine with a distinct "mineral" backbone and a harmonious balance between acidity and fruit.

Philosophy: Under the guidance of visionary winemaker Lado Uzunashvili, the estate follows "Lutte Raisonnée" (reasoned struggle) and biodynamic farming practices. This ensures the wine is a pure reflection of the land, produced with minimal intervention and no additives.
