Vazisubani Estate is located in Georgia's foremost wine region – Kakheti, in the picturesque Alazani Valley, on the right bank of Alazani river. This region has historically been regarded as the finest for Georgia’s premium class wines. Five endemic grape varieties are grown on 33 hectares (82 acres) of vineyards within the grounds of the Estate.
Over the past decade, founders, investors and visionaries have ambitiously revived the estate’s palace and original marani (wine cellar) which dates from the 19th Century. The estate was originally built by Sulkhan Chavchavadze, who was famous for his deeds, winemaking and contribution to his homeland. The magnificent garden, planted by Chavchavadze, rests in the heart of the Estate, combining with a modern hospitality venue, to make a cultural and recreational center for wine lovers and adventurers.
