Collection: Khikhvi Wines

Khikhvi is just one more of the 500+ Georgian indigenous grape varieties, but is considered one of the three most prized white varieties next to Kisi and Mtsvane.   It's an ancient grape and has been cultivated in Georgia for centuries.  Khikhvi wines are known for their versatility, soft acidity, and their distinctive aroma.  They are produced in a wide range of styles, with a wild character and very different profile from other white wines.  They are used to produce both crisp white wines as well as amber, qvevri, skin-contact wines.
